We Welcome You

Our Organization's name, “Tusaidiane Pamoja,” originates from Swahili, meaning “Let’s help each other” or “Let’s stand together.” The Organization reflects the East and Central African tradition of communal support during times of death and grief

Our Mission

We are committed to uniting East African communities in the United States by providing compassionate, culturally grounded financial and emotional support during times of bereavement. Through collective contributions, we ensure that no member grieves alone, and every family can provide a dignified farewell to their loved ones

Our Vision

We envision a strong, connected East African diaspora where solidarity, tradition, and mutual support uplift every member during life’s most difficult moments—fostering a community where unity in sorrow brings strength, dignity, and lasting cultural bonds.

Benefits of Membership

What you and your family receive through Tusaidiane Pamoja—financial security, compassionate care, and a united community.

Financial Security When It Matters Most

Because no family should face loss alone or unprepared.

Eligible members with over 180 days (6 months) of membership receive $20,000 in the event of their passing, while $15,000 is provided for a minor under similar circumstances. This timely financial support ensures a dignified farewell without the burden of unexpected costs, allowing families to focus on honoring their loved one.

Compassion and Care Beyond Finances

Standing with you in every step of grief and healing.

Where needed, counseling sessions are arranged to help members and their families cope with grief and trauma—because emotional support is as essential as financial help. Our community ensures no one faces life’s most difficult moments without compassion and understanding.

Unity that keeps our community connected

One community, one heartbeat—always informed, always together.

In moments of loss, all members across Tusaidiane Pamoja are notified, ensuring that every life is honored and every family feels the strength of a united community. Together, we uphold our tradition of standing shoulder-to-shoulder in times of sorrow.
